| My wife Andrea and I decided in 1996 to spend a winter in Mammoth after retiring from McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, California in 1995. We were living at the time in Buenos Aires Argentina where I had met my wife years earlier when I was the Director of Marketing for Commercial Aircraft for South America. The plan was to only spend one ski season here and then return to Argentina. We would rent a condo to see how we liked living in Mammoth. We did and bought a condo here after the first year to use on a part time basis. Part time became full time when we took our daughter, Alexia, out of the seventh grade in Buenos Aires and moved north. Alexia is now attending college in Santa Barbara and Andrea and I remain in the Mammoth that we have come to love.
I have been with Century 21 Mammoth Realty for three years and am now the Broker of Record. This followed working for a small independent office here for three years which I left after being recruited by Larry McKee owner of Century 21 Mammoth Realty, a move I am so glad that I made. Andrea, a Realtor, made the move to Century 21 with me keeping the team together.
I am also a Director for the Mammoth Lakes Multiple Listing Service for the third consecutive year enforcing regulations and setting local policy and regulations.
